A day in the life of a Leicester Removals company

Many people ask what does a typical moving day look like.  Honestly, no two moves are ever the same!

For example the things below are what our team do on a daily basis:

Arrive at the office for 7.30am-7.45am, put the kettle on and then check to see which lovely customer they are moving on that day.

After a drink, they will kit up their assigned vehicle with any equipment needed such as sofa protection covers, mattress covers, wardrobe cartons, packing materials, piano wheels, sack barrows if they have some larger plants to move.  After this, they will inspect their assigned vehicle ready for the removal to ensure there are no new issues.

Then they are off on their way to you.  When they arrive they will introduce themselves and ask you to show them around your property pointing out any items which are to remain.  They will then protect your flooring and commence with the process of loading the vehicles.

When they have completed loading of the vehicle/s they will then ask you to recheck to ensure all items have been removed and then before they set off to your new property, they will check the address with you.

They will meet you at your new home and once you have keys, they will begin the process of placing all items in the correct rooms where you require them.  They will of course protect flooring at your new home as well.

When they have unloaded everything, they will check if you need any items moving around and if not then they will ask you to sign their documents and will be off and on the way back to the office.
