"The striking and memorable livery on the Mannix Brothers’ vehicles instantly communicates quality and first caught my eye some years ago. The business therefore easily found its place on the shortlist for my recent move from Leicester to storage and onwards to Northern Ireland. Late one evening I used the Mannix site’s comprehensive contact form to request a quote. Carmel responded early the following morning, surveyed the job around lunchtime, and I received a written quote later that afternoon. With prompt and courteous service that inspired my confidence, and a quote that easily beat all the others for clarity, accuracy and transparency, I happily accepted. The removal to storage was easily completed in a morning (all credit to Joe, assisted by Jake, for manoeuvring a very large HGV through a crowded and unforgiving approach to the inner city property). Considering the warehouse work involved in handling the containers (which were subsequently unloaded and reloaded into one of the vans for the onward journey), I thought the storage charges were remarkably modest. Carmel kept in touch with me every month and I always knew where I stood when the next invoice came along. The logistics involved in choosing the ferry and road route for the onward journey over several hundred miles between countries in the middle of winter, and the Customs documentation involved, must have been a nightmare, particularly as the arrangements were made on either side of the Christmas break. Carmel and Kelly took it all in their stride and Jason and Joe soon reunited me with my precious belongings bang on schedule. I’d say that Mannix Brothers is exceptional in every respect. I doubt you’d find a more reliable and professional service anywhere. All the staff members I met obviously cared, and took care. They were consistently polite, approachable and good humoured. Carmel in arranging the move was very happy to accommodate any problems we had. She was amazing! Steve and Joe moved us, they worked so hard to make the day less stressful! Nothing was too much trouble and the care they took with our possessions was first class! Floors, stairs and carpets were well protected with the protectors they put down.
